What’s Included in the Generated Course
- Course title and description
- Sections (topics/modules) — each containing:
- Section name and summary
- Activities such as:
- Pages (content lessons)
- Assignments
- Quizzes (with questions)
- Forums
- Lessons
- Labels
- External links (URLs)
Editing the Course
You can make changes to any part of the generated course:
- Edit a section — click the edit button on any section to modify its name or summary using an AI prompt. Describe what you want changed and the AI will rewrite the section accordingly.
- Edit an activity — click the edit button on any activity to modify its name, description, or content with an AI prompt.
- Generate a new section — click Add Section and provide a prompt describing the new section you want. The AI will create it and add it to the course.
- Delete sections or activities — click the delete button to remove any section or activity.
- Reorder sections — drag and drop sections to reorder them.
Each AI edit operation costs credits, unless you have free iterations available on your plan.
Saving as Draft
Your course is automatically saved as a draft. You can also manually save by clicking Save Draft. Drafts can be resumed later from the My Courses page.
If you try to navigate away from the course creator while you have unsaved changes, a confirmation dialog will appear asking if you want to leave without saving.
Click Next to proceed to publishing, or Back to return to Step 1.
