This is where you upload your content and choose how the AI should process it.
– Uploading Files
- Click the upload area or drag and drop files.
- Supported formats: TXT and PDF
- Maximum file size: 10 MB per file
- Maximum total content: 100,000 characters across all uploaded files
- After uploading, each file is shown with its name and character count.
- Click the X button on any file to remove it.
– Choosing a Rewriting Mode
Select one of three AI modes:

– Advanced Settings (Optional)
Click Advanced Settings to access:
- Connector selection — pre-select which LMS connector to use for publishing
- Copy from existing course — search and select a course already in your Moodle to copy its settings (format, completion tracking, etc.)
- Course title — optionally set a custom title (otherwise AI generates one)
- Course description — optionally provide a description for the AI to reference
- Category — choose a Moodle category for the course
– Credit Estimate
Before generating, a credit estimate is displayed based on your content size and selected rewriting mode. This shows the approximate range of credits that will be used.
– Generating the Course
Once you have uploaded at least one file and selected a rewriting mode, click Generate Course. A progress indicator shows the processing stages:
- Preparing course content…
- Generating lesson content…
- Creating activities and quizzes…
- Finalizing course…
You can cancel generation at any time using the Cancel button. A confirmation dialog will appear before canceling.
⚠️ Warning: Credits for partially generated content may still be deducted.
