Block setup

General settings

Once you are done with installation it will prompt you to set up or you can skip it and set it up afterwards. To set up after you have skipped the setup, navigate to Site administration > Plugins > Edwiser Reports > Block Settings

Here you will the following settings for all the Edwiser Reporting blocks

  1. With the position setting, you can arrange the sequence in which the blocks are displayed.
  2. You have the option to choose the size of the blocks for Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile devices.

Personalization setting

Goto the Edwiser Reports Dashboard page and enable Edit mode (For Moodle 4.0+) or click customize this page (For older Moodle versions). A cog (gear) icon will be displayed for each block.

  1. Edit Block View – Here, you have to option to arrange the sequence/position for your reporting dashboard and it’s size.
  2. Hide Block- You can also choose to hide the block completely from all users. (Including Admins)
  3. Change Capability – Configure the block View Capability and block Edit Capability on the reports dashboard page. (Hide/Unhide blocks from users and Allow/Disallow configuration from users)

TIp: For Easy Navigation, Edwiser Reports Dashboard link is added to the left navigation bar in Moodle 3.11 and in the header bar in Moodle 4.0 of the default Moodle theme. If you are not able to find the Edwiser Reports page link in your theme you can also navigate by adding the following in your website URL: /local/edwiserreports/index.php For example – www.moodlesite.com/local/edwiserreports/index.php You can also embed this link in an HTML block to quickly redirect to the page in one click.
