Edwiser Product Purchase Terms & Conditions

Important: These Terms govern the purchase and use of Edwiser WordPress & Moodle™ plugins and themes. By purchasing or using a Product, you agree to these Terms.

Open‑source notice (GPL). All Edwiser plugins and themes are released under the GNU General Public License (GPL v2 or later). Your license key governs access to updates, support and certain services; it does not limit your rights under the GPL to use the software you received.

Not legal advice. This document is provided for commercial clarity and should be reviewed by your legal counsel for compliance in your jurisdiction.

1. Definitions

Note: If your Products are sold in different seat/site tiers (e.g., 1‑site, 5‑site, 10‑site), the number of permitted Sites per License Key will match the tier purchased.

To provide effective support, you must grant Edwiser the necessary level of access to your website or server environment. The required access depends on the issue and may include, but is not limited to:

Failure to provide adequate access may limit our ability to investigate or resolve your issue.

By purchasing a Product, you consent to receive transactional and Product‑related emails (order confirmations, license notices, update alerts, critical advisories, and how‑to resources). You may opt‑out of marketing emails at any time. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on data handling and your rights.

Annual Licenses auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Edwiser Account → My Subscriptions tab to stop future renewals.

We offer a fair 30‑day refund window under the conditions below. To request a refund, contact edwiser@wisdmlabs.com with your order number and a clear description of the issue.

It’s pretty simple. Just deactivate the license on the staging site and activate it on the live site.

For valid and active license keys, the plugin can be updated from your WordPress site (installed plugin section) Or you can download the latest version of the plugin using the download link included in the purchase receipt. You can also navigate to Edwiser My account page, log in with the credentials used at the time of purchase, and download the purchased plugins.

In case you have misplaced your purchased product license key, kindly go back and retrieve your purchase receipt id from your mailbox. Use this receipt id to make a support request to retrieve your license key, or you can just navigate to Edwiser My account page, log in with the credentials used at the time of purchase, and retrieve your license key.

Yes, Edwiser RemUI theme supports RTL

Edwiser RemUI’s built-in accessibility features may be compromised by theme modifications or customizations, potentially affecting compliance with accessibility standards.

Edwiser RemUI theme file is available for Moodle™ software versions 3.0 to 4.0. However, we provide theme support and updates for Moodle™ software version 3.10 and above.

Edwiser Products/Plugins works perfectly on any hosting instance. However, if MoodleCloud or your hosting provider does not allow 3rd party plugin installation then you won’t have the ability to install any 3rd party plugin including ours.

Edwiser Reports will work fine with Moodle™ versions 3.11 – 4.1(latest release). Also, you need to setup Cron Job and Course completion criteria for the plugin to gather information from your Moodle™ software site.

You have the option to export reports in CSV, Excel, and PDF format. You can also schedule or instantly send the reports to your email.

Site Overview Status, Course Progress block, Popular Courses block, Daily Activities block, Real-time users block, Inactive users Block, and Certificate stats block. It also includes Custom Report Builder.

Yes, Edwiser Reports is translation ready and is translated to Spanish, German, French and Polish out of the box.

Yes, you can always choose to upgrade your plan from Annual License to Lifetime License after Initial purchase by just navigating to Edwiser My account page and click on the ‘View Upgrade’ button to upgrade from Annual License to Lifetime License.

One Business License (2 sites License/Staging+Production) can be activated on 2 Moodle/WordPress sites. It could be 2 Staging (Test) or 2 Production (Live) or a Combination of Staging + Production site [Recommended]

With an Annual License, you get access to Product support and updates for 1 Year. After the License expiry, you need to renew your license to continue getting Product Support and Updates.

Note: If the purchase is made from our website then you are subscribed to auto-renewal when you purchase Annual License. You can always opt to cancel auto-renewal by canceling the subscription from your PayPal account.

With a Lifetime License, you get 3 years of support and lifetime updates. And you do not have to renew the subscription every year.

Note: The number of licenses/sites on which the product can be activated does not change depending on the License type (Annual/Lifetime)

The activation count is reached most of the time when you take down the site/uninstall Moodle/WordPress without deactivating the License keys. Hence, please ensure you deactivate the license key and then migrate the site. You can email us here (edwiser@wisdmlabs.com) if you want us to reset the License activation.

Any Business License (2 sites/Staging+Production license) can be used to activate the license on Staging/Test Site and Production/Live Site i.e the same unique license key can be used on both the instances.

Firstly, you have to choose the plan from the pricing table and then click on Buy Now. Now when you are on the Checkout page, you will find the option to choose between 1 Business, 5 Business, and 10 Business License.

Yes, you can always deactivate the license key and reuse the license key on a new instance.

We provide support to any user who has a valid and active license. You can email us here (edwiser@wisdmlabs.com) or you can chat with us using the chat icon on the right bottom corner.

Every license you purchase is valid for one year (for annual license), during which you will receive free support and updates. After the license expires you will still be able to use the plugin, but will not receive support or updates. To continue receiving support and updates, you will have to renew the license at the current price of the theme.

Terms & Conditions for Services

Below are the terms and condition applicable to all services availed from us.

Agreement Terms

To enable the provider to perform its obligations under the services agreement the client shall Co-operate with the provider and

Whilst every endeavor is to ensure plugins, scripts or programs are free of errors, the Provider cannot accept responsibility for any losses incurred due to malfunction of the plugin, Client website or any part of it.

In case, the WordPress Installation itself is updated and/or any plugins are added/removed/updated post completion of the project; there could be a possibility of some features not working. While we can fix it for you, later on, these case scenarios would not make us responsible for any losses incurred at the Clients’ end.

The Provider does not accept any responsibility for the performance/proper functioning of any and every third party component like a plugin, theme or piece of software used for the development of Client solution.

The Client shall indemnify the Provider against all claims, costs and expenses which the Provider may incur and which arise, directly or indirectly, from the Client’s breach of any of its obligations under this Agreement, including any claims brought against the Provider alleging that any services provided by the Provider in accordance with this Development Proposal infringes a patent, copyright or trade secret or others similar right of a third party

The Provider will not be liable for costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the failure to meet agreed deadlines. Once the project has been initiated no refund requests will be entertained.

The Provider will not be liable for any costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the unavailability of the site, its servers, software or any material provided by its agents.

The Provider (Edwiser and WisdmLabs) reserves the rights to use the Client’s name and Company Logo for promotional and marketing purposes worldwide.

The Client is expected to test fully any application or programming relating to this web development by the Provider before the application is made generally available for use.

If bugs, errors or other issues are found after the application is live, the Provider will endeavor to correct these issues to meet the standards of function outlined in the brief, within the stipulated migration and support period.

The Provider is not responsible for domain registration, hosting/site up time and any other services not provided explicitly by the Provider.

Any work not specified in the agreement document is strictly out of scope and will require a separate quotation from the Provider. NO additional work will be undertaken without written authorization (E-Mail Included) from the client.

Administrative access to the final deliverable (programme code) on the Client website will be made available by the Provider only after all outstanding amounts are paid in full.

After full payment realization and completion of the project, the Provider agrees to hand over the entire design and code for this project to the Client.

The source code will be developed under the GPL License.

During the course of engagement, the Client will have direct access to the delivery and development teams of the Provider. To protect the interests of the Provider, this agreement mandates that the Client, either directly or via any indirect means, WILL NOT SOLICIT the employees/partners/affiliated entities of the Provider, so long as the Client and the Provider are in an active business relationship and thereafter.

The Provider promises to provide turnaround within 48 hours for routine communication/requests and 24 hours for situations of requiring an immediate response.

A breach of any condition by either party will make the agreement liable for termination by the other party.

Prior to termination, the faulted party shall notify the other party in writing of a breach of the agreement, and the alleged breaching party shall have 15 days to correct the said breach to the satisfaction of the faulted party with no further recourse if the breach shall be corrected.

No refund will be provided for setup or customization services.

Once the project has been initiated, cancellation requests will not be accepted.
