Installing the Plugin

You can install the plugin directly from your Moodle site using a ZIP file.

Before You Start

• You need administrator access to your Moodle site.
• Make sure you have the plugin ZIP file provided by Edwiser or downloaded from your Edwiser account.

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Log in to your Moodle site as an administrator.
2. Go to Site administration in the left menu (or top navigation bar).
3. Click Plugins, then click Install plugins.
4. On the “Install plugins” page, you will see a section labeled Install plugin from ZIP file.\
5. Click the Choose a file… button (or drag and drop your ZIP file into the file area).
6. Select the local_edwiserappmanager.zip file from your computer.
7. Click Install plugin from the ZIP file.
8. Moodle will check the plugin. If everything looks good, click Continue.
9. Follow any additional on-screen steps. The plugin will automatically set up:
   1. Web services for the mobile app.
   2. Push notification settings.
   3. Default app styling.
10. When you see the Success message, the plugin is installed.

What Happens Automatically?

After installation, the plugin configures the following for you:

• Enables Moodle’s mobile web services.
• Enables the REST protocol for app communication.
• Sets up push notification delivery through Edwiser’s Airnotifier server.
• Creates a default color theme for the mobile app.

You do not need to change any of these settings manually.
