If your Moodle site uses the RemUI theme, the plugin can automatically style the mobile app to match your site’s colors, fonts, and design.
What Gets Synced?
When you save changes in the RemUI’s visual personaliser, the plugin updates the mobile app with:
- Your brand’s primary and secondary colors.
- Background colors for pages, login screens, and navigation.
- Font family and text styling.
- Heading colors and sizes.
- Button colors and borders.
- Navbar and tab bar styling.
How It Works
- You customize your site’s look using the RemUI visual personaliser (found under your theme settings).
- When you click Save, the plugin detects the change.
- It generates a custom CSS file for the mobile app.
- The next time learners open the app, they see your branding.
What If I Do Not Use RemUI?
If you are not using the RemUI theme, the mobile app will use a default clean theme with blue and white colors and the Inter font. This happens automatically — no action needed.
How to Check If Branding Is Working
- Make a visible color change in the RemUI customizer (for example, change the primary brand color).
- Save the customizer.
- Open the Edwiser Mobile App on your phone.
- Log out and log back in, or force-close and reopen the app.
- You should see the new color applied.
If the color does not change, try clearing the app’s cache or waiting a few minutes.
