Getting Started

Requirements

• Moodle 5.0+ (tested up to 5.2)
• A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
• Internet connectivity (Google Translate is a cloud service)

Installation

Edwiser Localizer is installed like any standard Moodle plugin:

1. Download the plugin zip file.
2. Log in to your Moodle site as an Administrator.
3. Navigate to Site Administration → Plugins → Install plugins.
4. Upload the zip file and follow the on-screen prompts.
5. When prompted, click Upgrade Moodle database now.
6. Review the plugin settings page that appears after installation, then click Save changes.

Tip: After installation, the plugin is enabled by default but no languages are selected. Be sure to configure it (see below) before testing.
